Sister Parish Ministry (SPM) is inviting nominations for new board members to begin serving in September 2025. This is a two-year commitment for individuals who feel called to actively support and advance the mission of our ministry.
We’re looking for passionate, purpose-driven individuals who are eager to contribute their time, expertise, and heart to help us grow. Board members play a vital role by offering guidance, sharing skills, and championing the work of SPM both locally and abroad.
The board meets quarterly, with occasional additional meetings as needed. While travel to the Dominican Republic is encouraged—offering a powerful opportunity to witness our work first-hand—it is not required.

SPM is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving the most vulnerable communities within the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Through our ministry, we strive to live and share Catholic values while delivering essential medical, dental, and pharmaceutical care, nutrition programs, early childhood education, job skills training, and critical community infrastructure support.
